This build was done because it was the bike my other buddy had back in the day. It was eventually stolen. I tried replicating everthing that was on a original 1983 Nova, though it seems they came with different component combos.

Awful on the hands but correct for that bike!

Interestingly your posts have bought up the similarities between complete bikes offered from Redline and Kuwahara at the time.

The Kuwahara KZ1 and KZ2 shadowed the Redline MXIII 600 and MXIII 700 as did the Nova = 600b, Laserlite = PL20 etc etc.
