Along with making some progress on the Skyway

I pulled out a mid-school RL I picked up a few weeks ago at a yard sale. The only thing I've done so far is give the frame a quick wipe down. It needs quite a bit of work, but I might consider racing this if I ever decide to get out and race.

I like it. It's got a real bad-*** look to it in my opinion. It's a Hi-ten frame, but I think it's got quite a bit of aluminum components. It's actually a pretty light bike.

I got some pics of the "workshop" while I was at it. No, it's no Brian P's, but it's what I call home.

I just got the shed built a few weeks ago. I got to building bikes before I got to organizing (bad move!). You'll see by the other corner that is organized, that I spend most of my time on the bikes. This stuff looks like it hasn't been touched. LOL

Mid-school cheapness:

Other stuff in the "shop"

GT Team Series:

Specialized Vegas (new school-parts donor for future frankenstein build):

I got that as a complete -- the rest of the parts are in the shop somewhere. LOL!

Those redlines are a cool retro bike to build. Sort of anyway. I just built this RL440 for cruisin the esplanade with my kids. Just need to fit the Tuff 1's and I'm done.
Nice workshop you've got too.

Coasty - awesome build you have there. If you didn't tell me it was a 440, I wouldn't have thought twice about it. Very nice!

Thanks for the compliments on the shop. Next time I get that much free time, the bike area is getting re-organized.

Thanks!
