Jeff and I really wanted to go to this on Thursday, but the babysitting gods were having none of it. It's tough to get stuff together with less than a week's notice, on a Thursday night. I had work early on Friday, too, as did Jeff.

It was really nice of DC Shoes to throw a party and include the old-schoolers...too bad apparently very few were able to go! Next time, Friday or Saturday, mmmkay?? They did put out the offer when we cancelled that we could bring the kids, but seeing as it was a school night, we just didn't think the kids' teachers would appreciate them being up partying till midnight. Haha!
