I am guessing about a 1980 - model cannot tell from serial number. Does the bottom bracket have a Redline stamp in the shape of a cigar, or the shape of an oval? Redlines are tough since there were no real records kept between late 1978 and 1981. The serial number coding was known up to serial number 10,500 which woudl be uintil March 1978. There was no real system until the dating started again in 1981 with the RA XXXX numbers.

Excellent Rob...no redline stamp on the bottom bracket,just the serial #...i've got some poor quality shots fom my cell phone..i hope these help...
