Ok- you guys did such a fine job critiquing my 20" NP, here's the 24. This was my race bike from BITD (23-24 years ago).
I know, it still needs a chain, grips, and I think I'm gonna ditch the blue MX1000 for a red one. Reason I haven't finished the bild is because I discovered it has to come back apart. The $400 chrome job I just had done is now bubbling up 2 mos later. ***???? So now I'm out a $50 decal set as well. But anyway, I think this bike looks awesome also. Here's the rundown:

GT Bars (w/ a NP decal)
Pro Neck II stem (my original one I raced with)
Tange headset
Dirt skirt
Ame grips
MX1000 lever and brake
Elina seat
DC MX seat clamp
NP seat post
Bullseye cranks and star
Pro neck chainwheel
KKT lightning pedals
Araya 7xs
Bullseye hubs
Comp IIIs

wow, thats a damn nice 24, what a killer trio you have ! i guess you better tell the wife the whole family will be together in about a month when the long gets down there !! no , really, let her know. you can say its for the boy after he outgrows the mini, but is not big enough for the two-four !! too bad about that chrome, it sure looks great from this view.

hey I like your mercedes bike stand, really highlights the cruiser. Now I am envious for two reasons.

Another nice bike!

National Pro 24's are fine looking bikes. I like the long and low geometry.
66alfa_gtv
That looks realy good.
Two small critiques, and completely based on my own tastes. One -those Elina lightening bolt seats are kinda busy looking and a bit boy racer. If mine, I'd replace with a solis black saddle.
Two, I have never been a fan of putting blue and red together side-by-side. If I see it correctly, your Bullseye hubs are blue and red.

Super, super minor things on a beautiful build.
Steve Hoffman
The Benz is a dealer service loaner....a crappy C230. The thing is a total sled!

The geometry is what I always loved about the NPs...similar to the Pattersons as well.

BITD I never really liked a blue/red combo either, but I kinda thought it would be something different given the red and blue decals on the bike. You are correct the hubs are red/blue, and I thought they'd go perfect considering the color scheme of the bike!

You mean the Mercedesebring. LOL!

Awesome bike.. I really like those bikes now days. The 20" bikes are sweet too. Great chrome on them from the factory

Very nice. I'd drop the seat post but thats about it.
Steve Bourke
i was thinking the same thing about a patterson from the seat tube back.

and i agree with you on red brakes. maybe even a red or black chain ring.

i need a benz bike rack.
Curt
Good looking bike!

As for the car, I trust that if the Benz is a loaner that means your Benz? is in the shop. And if so, no surprise, they no longer have the steller build quality that was so pre 1997 (pre Mopar purchase). I hope they set it right with the recent ditching of the Mopar affiliation

Always remember you lease the german car but you BUY the japenese car.
AndyDiamond
Nice looking bike.

Chrome job looks fine from here - do you really need to redo it?
Steve Hoffman
Andy- you can't see it in the pics, but TRUST me the whole top tube is bubbled up, some spots even so bad that the chrome plating has cracked. It looks like it has a disease!

Curt- Yeah my E55 is in the shop for a change. Its got more vertical miles from going up and down on a lift than horizontal miles!
jerry a hutcher
Sweet steve !!

Thanks Jerry!
