I did attempt to get clarity via the search forum method, but could I get a history lesson please on some grips?? Plus with good input and hopefully some good pics posted, this thread can serve as a rock solid resource for later on. What time era, and popularity were associated with: F1s, B1Bs, 3s, B2s, .5s & any other respected grips. Thanks

Andy, I think the Oakley .5 was before the 3.
They were the first Oakley grips I ever bought, and I know I bought them before the 3's were available.
Of course, being down here on the *** of the world, we might have got the 3's late...

You might be right Mike - hence the .5 is next to the 3 - lol
However, I was under the impression the .5 and the 3 were released at the same time.
I don't know the exact date for the first Oakley grip - the older guys here can confirm.
Late 70s?
Fill in the gaps with the others up to: the F1 82.
B1B 83.
B2 84.
O-Wing 85.
And that was it for Oakley grips.
