Anyone have some skyway BMX parts for sale? A neighbor gave me an 83 frame (has a re-weld in one place) so I figured I would build it for myself. I got the decals from Ed, have tuff 2's but need forks and bars. Thanks,

Oh ya, it was great meeting some of you at the Roseville show. Some amazing bikes out there...

Forks... yeah. Hope you can find someone to hook you up. A used set will set you back $150 - $250 on eBay. I've been looking for a while myself.

Ed's going to see if Skyway is able to make a couple extra sets when the 25th anniversary bikes are made, but I think it might be a long shot.

Good luck! And if you find more than one set, drop me a line. I'll be sure to do the same.

By the way, did your '83 have original decals on it? Is it a standard (18.5" TT) or XL (19.5" TT)? Mine is a standard with XL style downtube decal... without the "extra long" script in it. I don't see too many of those around.

I have 20 extra forks on order. Skyway is WAYYYY behind on things, so we're still waiting on a production date on the framesets!
It IS being worked on, though!

Thanks Ed, Payment for the decals has been sent as well.

Do you have a price Ed for the repop forks and how do I get on the list.

Thanks Iboorse2, I will do the same if I come across a pair or two. The frame has no decals but I am sure it is a standard. Frame is marked 11-83 skyway USA on the bottom with the aero tubbing.

Not too sure yet...

Bottema forks are always an option to fit onto a Skyway frame , then again I'll fit Bottema's to any 84 & earlier bike Matt & I build*

We are fortunate enough to have the original correct stickers on our XL TA.

They look great with Bottema forks....Finding a set of
original Cal Lite Skyway pads might prove difficult or very spendy.....

Yeah , I'll fit some original Campy Grapites or New school flanged Graphite Tuff wheels back onto the TA , as soon as these NOS THUG's get broken in properly.

*I probably won't fit Bottema's to my 77 monoshock , an unsprung front end would take half the fun out of it

The pads are out there. Actually Ed has the neck pads. But yeah, the frame and bar pads will be very pricey when you see them.

I got one of the neck pads when we all went to the Patriot bike shop after the Roseville show. Funny thing is I didn't even have the skyway frame until I got home. I guess it was meant to be.
