Alot of you saw the PK Ripper these were attached to last week. The wheelset got taken to the local master wheel builder & given a makeover. They cleaned up nicely for being around since 84'. Travis the wheelbuilder said he spun the front as hard as he could & it spun for 15 minutes.

I hope Bill C. can use these photos for the museum.

Before.

After.

Anyways, enjoy!

Awesome!

Love those Ukai 1.5 rims too - would look sweet with some Comp IVs.

I guess those hubs ued to be anno red which is a shame they faded so much.
Never mind - they look bling now.

I think Jesse James know's someone who could add the color back in those hubs, but he's backed up for about a month right now.

The hubs were never anodized. When these hubs hit the SLC area in 84', the big thing to do was to paint the holes. These hubs had been done with finger nail polish. It came off easy.
Sorry, no trades. Jacob, you have a PM.

Of course - I have never seen Son Lite in any colour other than silver.

I was thinking of SSTs.

Chip you know you Da man!!!!!

I bought a set labeled as PistolPetes company. LRP I think, about a year before Son Lite had them out. I had them "race laced" 5 crosses all outside laced. On Mongoose Pro Lights and then Mavic TTM4s
