Well...I finally got around to building this thing. This is an ORIGINAL...by that I mean it is the original Mongoose Black Chrome finish...(not repainted, not laquered, not rechromed, not anything). This is what you walked out with from the bike shop back in 1982.

Once it clears up a bit outside...I will try to take some better pictures. I haven't figured out how to get the nice indoor lighting for pictures yet!!! LOL.

This is by far the most beautiful bike I have ever built. Hope you like it!











The only thing I am missing is the number plate... ...anybody happen to have an extra!!!!

Hey PK...

I actually saw it on the bay! Long story short...the reserve was not met blahblahblah....and I finally ended up with it in the end!!! LOL

I actually have SEVEN Pro Class frames/forks!! LOL

i love the pics of it in the 'sun'. would be a perfect build, if the bars weren't that ugly.

LOL...I totally agree with you! I never like the 8 1/2" rise Pro Class bars...I preferred the 7 1/2" rise bars. But...I sacrificed appearance for originality! LOL

That is awesome!

I quite like the tall PC bars myself.

I guess the weird thing about them (being tall) is that the cross bar is quite high so when you have a cross bar pad on there it can look a bit odd.

I think I would be more excited to have MY PRO CLASS back than winning the lottery...
