Heres my Quicksilvers, I am only missing one (there are more but I'm only chasing the helium)

Wow ! Awesome collection of the best Aussie bikes there was. Ah the memories !!!!

Quicksilver:

That is a museum quality set. Respect! I like all of them in a very special way, but I really like your cruisers with the twin down tube. Was the helium a true weight saver?

You are the Quicksilver hunter from down-under!

Cheers!

Mike

Awesome collection Reece. Even the old tri-moly Quicksilvers are getting so scarce now - that's a collection that could never be put together now.
A credit to you mate.

Impressive collection, mate.

Can you tell us a bit more about this helium thing - as I understand it, helium was pumped into the frame to try and make it lighter.
Mattblack
Very nice and very cool bikes

Yeah neil, the Helium quicksilvers were the same as the team frames but had a valve for helium to be pumped into it. Spose to make the bike lighter for racing, but who knows?!?!

Now thats a super slick set of clean looking Quickies Reece. Nice job on the Aussie muscle bikes mate.
Kurt.
Hey Neil - see this from the '82 catalogue. Short lived but iconic Aussie frame - and truly unique!
