When did it start publishing? When did it fold? Does it show up on ebay often? Anybody interested in scanning them and selling those scans on DVD ala what Bill Curtain did with the first four years of BMX Action and all of BMX News? (Hint, Hint ) Great disc both! However, I still have gaps in researching that era of early BMX history. Where there any other publications like it?

What time periods are you looking for - Where are the gaps you are referring too?
I'm not sure when Bicycle Motocross Weekly started publishing but I'll guess that the year was 1974, possibly in the spring. Just a guess.

I was talking about the early, mid to late 1970's era. Mind you I am talking about Bicycle Motocross *Weekly*, Not Bicycle Motocross News. BMXW was a weekly and later bi-weekly newspaper style publication printed in California for Californians IIRC, not nationally distributed like BMXN. I am sure BMXW has info that BMXN missed. The period before 1974 is like pre history with cave paintings compared to the media coverage BMX would enjoy by the early 1980's. If anyone knows of pre 1974 publications I would like to know.
I hope that clear things up.
Thanks!
