I hope this doesnt belong in MID school Anyway this is my GT 24" project in the works. Let me know what y'all think so far. I am kinda mixed about the gold gear & brakes, thinking maybe blue. . As for the seat, seatpost, seatclamp, bars and stem those are what I am needing input as what I should go with. Any ideas ??

What year is that? Looks like a GT/Robinson tail.. Ya, its a mid school bike, but its still cool... Nice ride!

The flat pierced seat tube made me think it was old school , then I checked the rear dropouts & got totally lost....it must be newer than the 1986 24 inch GT we have , Matt is still messing around with the colour scheme on that.....

I found that a simple mix of Blue , Black & Chrome combo sits nice on the Satan Ana 26 inch GT's

Along with some little yellow Bottema stickers for the supercross forks + a yellow label comp III to compliment the yellow in the GT stickers....

FWIW:
Try to match up your colours mix as close as (financially) possible to each other , the gold & black are a nice mix but the shades of blue coloured components on it atm really wander all over the spectrum & throw out any colour combo or asthetic balance you are trying to mix in , right out of whack.
The primer grey handle bars won't help much either when you are mocking up a bike & trying to get the look you are after.

I am by no means a magnificent Artiste' , but as an Electrician your life depends on really knowing your colours , so I have paid a _lot_ of attention to colour & always look for variations in it , those variations are
a good indicator of pending trouble etc.

JB the primer bars , Haro stem , seatclamp , and seat are not staying. I just put on some laying around parts. As for the year model, from serial # I am guessing it should be a 93.

Sorry Haro#7 , I kinda skirted your question for ideas on the parts...& got hung up in colour variations on the parts you were not using....

"As for the seat, seatpost, seatclamp, bars and stem those are what I am needing input as what I should go with. Any ideas ??"

Despite the frame GT being a 93 model why not retro fit it with a combo of parts from around the Santa Ana or Huntington Beach era 1980-->1986 or so.

Keep the seat , fit some Black spendy bits , like a hinged Dia Compe seat clamp & inverted Tuff Neck , chrome GT 24in cruiser bars (or whatever bars chrome) , gold dia compe brake lever , gold suntour headset lock , black grips , sneak in a new school yellow teflon coated brake cable (if they make them) or get a black teflon brake cable , chrome or black chain (anything but a gold & chrome chain)

All of _my_ suggestions really pend on _your_ personal likes dislikes & BUDGET.

Our 26 inch GT above is obviously not a strict period correct 1982 build. But we like it.

Same should go for you with whatever way you choose to build your GT cruiser.

FWIW...it all looks ok to me apart from bars, stem and s.p. clamp....

bars - look up auction #120117673644 or even #120118020230, stem #140117638806
