I had the best day restoring a set of Motomag I's I glass beaded them and they came out fantastic.

My question is, what do you do with the sidewalls?
I sanded them to take out scratches....and now...

Do I polish them to a shine? OR

How can I get back the "machined side-walled look"?

Any suggestions??

You can take them to a machine shop and have them turned.

Or, you can rig them to a fork and a motorized wheel to turn them. Hold abrasive device at edges as they spin and do it yourself.

I like the look of polished side walls on Motomags.
