since I can't make it to Rockford this year, I thought I'd share this bike w/ you guys (and girls). It's a 1981 Torker 26" that I've owned since 1982 and was raced by Harold McGruther who rode for Torker at the time. If anyone knows of (or has) a couple of NOS Torker fork decals, PLMK! All other decals are NOS not repops. Cash waiting! Here's the rundown:
Torker 26" f/f set (original chrome)
Mongoose S/S Kos cruiser bars (w/Torker decal)
Torker 6 bolt stem
DC MX1000 brakes
Redline single pinch 175mm
KKT Lightnings
Tange seat clamp
Tange MX3 headset
AME Grips
Araya 7x's
IRC X1 Racer Pros
MYSTERY HUBS??? Can someone identify these???
Torker vinyl snap padset
No name chrome setapost
Mongoose Ibloc seat (changing for a Viscount or Kashimax)

Thanks guys. Yeah I know about the Corvette plate, but I have three Corvettes and the Ford is my tow vehicle for them. Does that make anyone feel better?

Hey Jon- I'm tired of drooling over them also! My red 20" will look sick when it's done. I'm just waiting on the wheels to get laced, and I'm good to go. The 24" will also look amazing as soon as I get the wheels done for that as well. The Torker I started last, and it wound up getting done first because of the wheels.
PS - does anyone know what those hubs are on my Torker?
Kurt.

That looks fantastic Steve - beautiful job.
Doubly rare too - a Torker 26 PLUS your own from BITD. Great job.

Thanks guys. The rims are actually original as far back as my ownership of it, and still had the original price tag from the bike shop under the rubber band on one rim. $60 for the pair.............built! Bars are original from when McGoo rode it, as well as the stem. The brakes, cranks, pedals, and padset are all recent additions. I can't believe the chrome has held up this well all these years. It rides sooooo smooth
it's awesome. Too bad my body isn't as smoothe as this bike anymore.
