I have a KOS # E111209, what does it mean? Also, is it true that some were made overseas? How can you tell & what's the difference if any? Thanks.

i never heard of one being built oversea's/ don't have any idea of the # sorry 'kos'

It's an `81. If you search the threads for Mongoose ID's/serial numbers you will find several that tell how to decode the date.
