Back in the early 80's, i got a powerlite bmx bike that was white frame with blue rims, cranks, and handlebars. the handlebars had an "X" bar accross the middle (i can't think of any other way to describe it) I lived in southern calif. (not that it matters) and if i remember right it cost around $350.00 which seems like alot of moneyback in the 80's.

i'm looking for pics or anything about it. does anybody remember??

The bars sound like rough riders.

would "rough riders" come on a new bike? it was bought at a bmx bike shop, they could have put them on as an add on, or would it come from powerlite like that?
