Moosegoose Nick
My daily rider and a Huffy Pro Thunder Moosegoose knock-off.The Huffy actually is a nice little rider. I was surprised.

Yup, I love to ride mine. Love that seat tube angle. Absolute wheelie machine.

The Huffy certainley has a more relaxed seat tube angle-what's the huffy frame quality/material like compared to the 'Moose?
wagonguy
Welds look like boogers, but I'm not planning on being too hard on it

I don't have a real moose to compare it to, but I know it would have to be better that the Huffy.

Was Huffy a department store bike or a Bike Shop bike
bitd ?

I thought Queenslanders in Australia were the only people silly enough to make a moose goose knock off , with an addicts sprocket to really sweeten the deal..

The beaded welding on most early Mongoose's always looks sweet , I doubt Huffy or this guy in Oz came close to it.

Kurt.
Looks like they compare pretty similarly size-wise and geometry-wise Nick (apart from that seat tube). Funky rider!

do those fake "replica" bikes show up at all in aussie land? I think that fake moose is kinda cool.
Kurt.
I've never seen one - can't imagine they ever sold big numbers at all.

Wow, pretty cool if you ask me. I know a few people are not interested in those kind of bikes (Huffy) but I think they must be great riders to have and enjoy so you can keep your precious bikes safe and stored away indoors. Maybe some day Huffy bikes will become really rare cause of lack of interst and prices will skyrocket, now wouldn't that be funny

The fake Moose must have been made in decent numbers as I've seen a number over the years. Matter o' fact there was one a couple weekends back at a bike swap. Probably the most dangerous of Huffy's as a big guy on one of those things is risking his life. Still an important peek at the crazy BMX market back in the day. Plus how can a Moosegoose guy not have one in the stable!? Looks like Nick needs to book a ticket down under to find the next piece in the Moose knock off puzzle!
