Car racing that is! This Saturday, May 5th is the 2007 opener for the SRL Late Model Tour at Shasta Raceway Park in Anderson, Ca. An easy 1350 mile round trip for us from San Diego.
We'll leave around 11:00pm Thursday and drive all night as the track opens for tech and practice on Friday from 2:00-6:00 pm. After the barbeque the track puts on for us, we'll hit the hotel for the only sleep of the weekend as we have to be back at 11:00 am on Saturday and get down to business.
After the races are over around 9:30-10:00pm, we load up, shoot the *&%#, argue about what happened and whose fault it is and then head for home. 675 miles....should be home by noon on Sunday. Oh yea, car racing is glamorous(sarcasm)!

Good luck Mike.
Try not to get turned and if you do return the favor.

Did I see that correctly??? #38 is also sponsored by Alfred Matthews and Mike's gonna lay the bumper on him??? I like that...no team orders!!!

Thanks for the well wishes guy's, I hope it goes well!
I think the unwritten rule with teammates is don't crash each other! I have put the bumper to him a couple of times and we finished in front of him 7 out of 8 races.

I don't know if this is against the rules, but our race will be on what is called Near Live on another website: RACINGWEST.COM Saturday night. You can follow qualifying, the 100 lap main event and even send in questions during the race.
Our main event wont be until 8:30-9:00pm, but practice and qualifying will be covered I would imagine starting about 5:00pm.
So while you guys get to watch the Supercross live from Vegas or watch the Cup race from Richmond, you can read about my race from Shasta on the computer.
