Las Vegas, Married for 24 Years, Three Kids, Daughters 21 & 14, Son 17.
Finance manager for a new car Honda dealer, Hobbies are Work & Church

There are rumors floating around that you are working on starting a new track in the Las Vegas Area.
How is it going, How far along are you into the project, When did you decide to do this?
KOS
I've been trying for about 9 years. The city is very hard to deal with.

Have you followed BMX since you retired, if not what brought you back?
KOS
Yes a little.

Do you plan on incorporating any Old School style into your track design or are you pretty happy with the current tracks of today?
KOS
It well only be old school, rocks, big jumps, no clips, it will not be a roller coaster ride!!!

Considering your contribution as a Pioneer in the development of the “Cruiser†class in BMX and the bikes raced. How does it feel knowing the Cruiser class will also be up for a gold medal at the Olympics?
KOS
VERY COOL!!!!!!

If you could step back in time to relive a moment of your racing past. What race would you like to relive?
KOS
Escape country. My first national win, passed Brent in 15 ex class, best track, fast and you had to have a big set!!

How did it feel getting a bike named after you? How did it come to be?
KOS
It was cool and gave me a lot of credit plus I did pretty good on it too.

All the guy's were tuff.

Yes he has one of them, any magazine, trophy's were cool, the most is the friends I’ve made and kept

Hey Kos!
Great that you're trying to get a track going.
Everyone remembers how great a racer you were in both 20" and your dominance in the first ever Pro cruiser class.

Another great interview with one the great legends of our sport. It was great to see Jeff in Phoenix and catch up a bit.

Hey Kos, sounds like life is treating you well. It was good to talk to ya in Arizona. I am sorry we did not get to talk more. Something tells me we will cross paths again.

Thanks Jeff, Kos. The T10 is great, a lot of us know some history on these guys but to just recap/ renew/ and discover new insights into some of their thoughts/ experiences all these years later is a treat.

Sounds like Cash's philosophy as well. I guess that's what they taught you old school Mongoose guys back then. And, what a way to be!
