Twas ME that coined the phrase "EL DIABLO" not Fredburger! I should say that reilley1 should recieve credit for implying that there was a meeting at the crossroads where the deal was sealed. All I did was to change the english devil to spanish diablo and give it a masculine tense! Tim said he liked it and he apparentley likes all the watchers on his ebay auction too! And I will too join the ranks and keep an eye on the seatpost! This could be a trend!

They are just like the GHP posts I bought a white robinson post like that cause I couldnt find a GHP

Has anyone seen or heard from "El Guapo" ? I wonder if he is selling anything? Hmmm...

I think the important question is...what are you doing with a Hutch f/f???

Re Tim's original question.

Possibly the lack of a support brace on a seatpost that is _very_ laid back & the fact that it hasn't gotten bent over the years ?

Or have you reworked a Cook Bros layback seatpost , to make it look like a Robinson post ? <humor>

When did Robinson make these posts ?
early 1980's ?
I've never seen one , so I'll watch it too.

As for having/selling an 82 US made Hutch Pro Racer , thats obvious , Tim needs the cash to buy a delux log wood style cabin by a lake on 200 acres of pristine land somewhere really nice.

Oh that's it, now I've got to watch it too.

Guess it's just rare to see a Robinson laid back seatpost like that.

Now that's funny right there. I don't care who you are.

they're late 80s - GT era .... i couldn't tell ya why .... but a guess would be - maybe theres more mid schoolers entering the arena or theres a few old schoolers that don't know and think it maybe an older item (which it isn't)

cool post, though, and in nice condition -- but would be outta place for anything 84 or older
