The only problem with the frame is the rear dropout, on the weld, endured a stress crack. Previous owner didn't use spacers for the hubs and as the wheel was tightened, created stress. After jumping, the stress put a hairline crack around 1cm of the weld (weld detached from the tubing) and another 1cm stress crack in the chainstay tubing itself. The repair would be easy, but here's the dilema:
- Do I fix the small stress cracks and rechrome/repaint the frame?
- Do I leave it alone because the cracks or isolated, basically unseen, and preserve the original chrome & decals?
The frameset is beautiful and wish it didn't have the stress cracks. Still has the original chainstay/seatstay end of tubing metal plugs.

Still has the fork tabs on each side

Pics of the stress cracks:

Kindly excuse the bootleggedness of my pics, just grabbed some old bike cleaning towels for a makeshift backdrop.
