I have been doing some preparation for Rockford this year, so I started with looking at the old photos of past events. I studied each year and I can't believe how many bikes are at the event and how many different ones each year. Then I took a trip to Brian Britt's and Brian P's and saw how many bikes they have. Then that pic came out of Flannel Camels line up of VDC's, of course there is Tim's collection of completes.

I cant help but think how many complete vintage BMX bikes are out there?

Lets start a counter I initally thought of just a grand total of how many complete built vintage BMX bikes there are but after some thought breaking it down to race and freestyle may be interesting.

I will start.

This is pointless. There are so many bikes out there that arent accounted for this poll would never be accurate.

Im only guessing at the total # of completes, and only taking "old school" (pre 85) bikes into account. But I'd have to say that there are 743,821 complete old schoolers out there.
Most of those are in PQuinns storage center, or a junk heap in someone's back yard.
