Looking forward to bringing it to other races in the series!
Carolyn and I have a busy schedule this summer but will be at Brainerd for sure on July 7th. It should be a great time with the new track, bikes, OSer's, and hearing about us Northerners racing experiences.

It'll be a great time and here's a little action from a previous show. Here I'm doing a bar endo right into the teacher...the kids eat it up!
In the background you have Tom Haugen who is one of the top riders in the world right now and Trevor Meyer, 3 time X-games gold medalist.

Enough about freestyle...back to racing!!!

You should use Ted's new Sting for that trick.... LOL!!
I'm suprised they let you ride that thing on a gymnasium floor. Those babies are HUGE money and one fall with a pedal or a peg would murder that stuff..... You must be really good.

Anybody remember a guy name Russ Hoad (sp)? I used to race him a lot as an Intermediate. Kind of a Duran Duran looking dude.
What about Theo Alfred? I know everybody remembers him, just curious where he is now. Wasn't always everybody's favorite, but I got along with him and he was a big part of the landscape in the early 80's.

Oh yeah, Theo! We all know him! I think Steve Redelspergergegerger tried contacting him not long ago.

That photo is hot.. that's what I remember about BMX. The festivities in the middel of the races or after. Look at all those riders in the background waiting to hit the jump.. This is BMX to me..

I'm going to remake some of those BMXA MFM jerseys, they were the best. I suppose I should get Oz's permission. But I'm gonna have a yellow one for the summer series. Anybody else?

Is Theo wearing rolled down leg warmers in that picture or did he have really fat legs at one time and those are the stretched out socks he's wearing? ^^^^^^
Is that a Swatch watch he has on?

John, sorry I didn't respond before now, I was waiting for the swelling to go down. I called Jim Kedinger earlier this year, first time in 17 years and the first thing he said was "hey, I was just telling a guy about that time in Dubois..."
What a legacy!
