Isanti yesterday. Small turnout, and no old school class. Was a Mike Auman sighting, but is on the injured list, but was there with his kids racing.

Don't forget, next weekend is the Rum River Fall Classic. Lots of different things going on. Tot races and parent racing. Have heard of a few OS'ers that are going to be there. Should be a fun time!

Yes, I was Chuck-l-ing at the stop light when I left Isanti Saturday! Which made me realize I needed to start "The Port-O-Potty" of the week.

I wonder what happened to Russ? Last I remember he was going to be coming out to the State Final weekend to race and mix it up.

The problem with Fall in Minnesota it only lasts for about 3 weeks. October blows, its to cold, November historically is warmer than October (but cloudier) and December is sure to bring snow. I can stomach that forecast, but Jan and Feb (for me ) positively suck... I live for April (Ssssssssspring)

HUGE weekend of racing this weekend! Friday open practice at Rehbein's, Saturday afternoon racing at Isanti, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at the Barn

This is also the last of the Old School Meets New School events. Sunday is the Old School Invitational. So polish up the old bikes and oil up those squeeky knees and come out and play at the Barn this weekend

I will be racing at the Barn on Saturday night and Sunday this weekend. I hope we have a good turnout for the last OS/NS event. Brad, since Friday is just a practice, you should try to make it on Sunday. If you don't want to race, you can still practice before the racing begins. It would be fun to have a good showing for the OS Invitational race.

Also, do you think Mike's place has any 3/32 chrome chains? I forgot the OS GT needs one after I ripped it tinto two sections...I've never seen a chain do that. Major Ouch! I can't believe I didn't fold that sprocket too.


Anyone looking for a nice starter bmx bike? 20" Torker from around 88-89. Its identical to a Free Agent. Its got some good parts on it. A mix of OS/MS/NS. I want 150.00 for it. I bought a new SNAP one piece sporcket for it .. The other sprocket and chain folded on that bike too...I'm having chain issues, I don't know why.

If it is the bike I am thinking of you need to offer up the forks to Conley without question.

Lets leave as early as possible, are you still talking about driving seperate in case you break a nail and have to leave early

I am pretty sure Mike's Bikes should have a chain assuming the shop is set up (?)

Really though, these are exactly like you had only yours were white. I could get them blasted for ya too. I think J&V would charge 5-10 to strip them and Creative Coatings will charge 75.00 to powder coat the DG frame and redline fork... its really reasonable. If you painted them in the garage with a can, primer, paint, clear, sand paper, compound and time would probably surpass 75.00.. Let me know and I can get it all done for ya.

Friday should be fun as well. I need to ride. I haven't riden my 24" since the last last at Elk River. Its been a non bike riding year for me. I've been coming to rehbein's since 01 during the Winter and it helps me with the Winter blues, cuz I get'm. I live for the sun/Summer.

I took the GT F/F to the coaters today for color. Man, thats hard finding the right blue. There are so many blues. I think I came real close to the oem GT blue, but a tad bit brighter. The original color is to dark, like the Calf shiot brown color on the new C-yaaa frames....

If I was in a custom mood I would have done bright orange F/F with all polished out parts... Being Manning is buying this bike I gotta keep it real... No-what I'm say'n?

There is a bike shop at rehbeins that should have a seat post in stock. Mike's Bikes is the shizzle dizzle, they will be set up and stocked as of Saturday before racing.
