This morning I woke up around 8:30. Said go back to sleep, relax its your one day off. So I did. Then I had a nightmare about my DG restoration project.
I was in my backyard (actually it was some backyard I have never seen before, but in the dream it was mine).
I had set out my rusted DG frame and hid the cranks under a pine tree with low branches touching the ground like a Blue Spruce.
The next morning I woke up and went to see the stuff and the frame was sitting there all shiny and cleaned up looking like new. I was like whoa, someone used the oxilic acid on it for me. I then picked up the frame and to my horror the head tube had a huge dent in it. IM like ***. I started looking over the frame for other dents and the entire non-drive side chainstay was missing.
I looked under the pine tree and thank god my cranks hadn't been touched.
This is my first restoration project and already it has spawned a nightmare lol.
Anyone else ever have one about a rebuild?
