ok, so im on e-bay last week just lookin around... i come across a auction for a 88 gt pro series f/f, dyno bars and a dk stem for BIN of 25.00 and 30.00 shipping. i figure what the heck, i can build a bike to race around on this year.
here is a pic from the auction

i get home today and there is a square box on the porch and sticking out of one end is 2 dropouts and out of the other end is a handlebar end.... i think OK, this should be fun. now im looking at the rear end and wondering why it doesnt look like an 88 pro series. so out come the f/f. i compare the rear end to my magazines, make a call to yearofthecat chris and figure i just got a 84 proseries f/f

stamped gt pro performer bars, dk stem with hollow bolt

peregrine seatclamp, gt seatpost and dominator seat.

for 55.00 shipped....
that made my day.

Very nice. I got an S&M Mad Dog shipped to me in a square box like that once—so bad. Like yours, though, it made it alive. Thankfully.

Brian, that is in much better shape than you described...or your really good at taking a pic .
The 1984 lineup for these bikes were the Junior(which this is obviously not), Expert, Pro, Pro XL and Pro 24 (another obvious no).
Get them decals off there pronto an get a hold of some repros. You will be very happy how much better it will look.
Good luck with this one an come over an pick up your stuff!!
