this is the best i have. the hack is at Jasons house. my mom would'nt let me keep it at my house.
it's welded on. bolt on's aren't as sturdy.

NICE. I like the "bullet" rear tire bumper. Looks tough enough fpr a monkey to swing a leg over in the right hand turns and get right behind the pilot for sharp cornering.
...and I think you are now allowed by the BMX gods to run a clip pedal on the inside; to keep the pilot's foot from slipping off and crunching in to the front of the hack.
If they'd made clipless pedals in the 70's and early 80's, we would've used 'em. The Barrette bros. always just had a half-toe clip on the inside pedal, where as I remember the Croffoot bros. had full-on toe-clips with straps tight, on both pedals.
Can't wait to race you guys in Roseville!

Its been fun building it so far it sould be done by the weekend. I still need to make the fender and finish the hack side rear bumper and the foot hold on each side.
Its not as high as it looks it the pic.We had those on the SE hack on both sides and it sure came in handy when contact got out of hand not that that ever happens in hack racing.....
gOrk you live around the corner from me according to Steve Behen. Come on by and check it out.
PS on the pedels I do belive I saw some pics with your Bro and WFo on a hack with clips!

If/when you race this sweet rig...and after the first corner there is no passing among the other hacks...can you blame the clips?

Sweet!!! Love the rear wheel bumper. Shades of Dain/Ruiz insanity!
Being clipped in a hack was almost standard procedure, not everyone did it but many of us did. I even saw some insane cats at Rancho using the Cinelli clipless pedals that were made sometime in the 70s
