Awesome couple of bikes there Tim. And a nice concept too.
That Cook Bros Uni Clamp stem would polish up really nicely.
Someone had to say it...

Pat, Pat, Pat, stirring the pot...the Cook Pot.
Or shall I wonder how a couple of Chef's ever got into building bikes.
OK, actually I'll ask a historical question,
What year did the decals switch from the old style that everyone recognizes, into the electronic style on that 81?
And who owns that glass case of Cook Bros. parts I see on the homepage occasionally?

I like the 74 but the 81 gives me BIG WOOD!

Did the old stingrays have rear dropout sections like that first Cook Bros? Looks more like a lawn chair than a bike frame..

Huh? G-flash, you mean the 1960s Cuban Liberation/anti-Castro movement? Right on...but huh?

That 74 gives me the fattest chubby whenever TIM posts that pic.
And for all you CBR haters:
CBR was the best quality bike of it's day. The only bike that came close to the same quality and durability were the 70's Redlines. There is nothing more beautiful on a BMX bike than a Cook Brother's weld.
