OK guys I need your help / opinion ... I am building a 83 Skyway TA and I am unsure as what bars & stem combo seems most compatable. I see a good percent of people run CW bars, but I am not a huge fan of CW's. Any input & opinions will be greatly appreciated and taken in to consideration.

I had a great set of skyway bars at one time sold them with the frame fork and pad set for like $250 duuuhhh. that would be the right bar. but build it the way you rode it bitd

GT, Powerlite, whatever you like.

Hey Mark, You could use GT "Santa Ana" bars and a Pro-Neck/Tuf-Neck to be "era correct". There are several bars that would be correct too. Hutch, Robinson, SE, Etc.

Same thing with stems. Suntour/Redline, ACS, SR, Etc...

If it were me in your position, I would look for a set of the above mentioned GT bars and a Pro/Tuf-neck stem. But that's just my opinion of course. Good luck and post pics when it's done!

Thanks for all the input so far guys. The GT bars is kinda what I was leaning towards with a PRO NECK stem. I used to have a Skyway that had Vector B. Haro bars and that didnt look to bad so that is another option I am throwing around.

I say, GT Pro Bars, but then, I'm kind of biased...

GT bars and a Pro/Tuf Neck is nice but a nice big set of CW bars is great.
