My GHP long that I had as a kid was a deep red or maroon sort of color. Not the more orangeish red that I see sometimes. Anybody got one in this color that they can post pics of?

What other colors did GHP's come in? I seem to remember only Chrome, orangey red, maroon red, black, and white. Any others?
Thanks!

I just found this in the museum, that's the color I'm talking about! Let's see some more/better pics, though.

candy redish,
I too had a GHP with "dark red" and I really loved that color

A buddy of mine has a GHP Pro that is green, its the only one that I have ever seen that color.

I have a GHP Trix and the red paint is not consistent throughout the frameset. Chip can explain why and not sure if this differs from freestyle to race.

Dave - are you sure you aren't refferring to the candy red?

It kinda looks 'dark red'.

Memory can be a bit hazy when you are thinking to back then.

Original GHP stuff was chrome.
Colours after that were candy-ish red, white, then orange.
I've also seen black.
Hard to know which colours were stock and which were custom painted.

Maybe Mr. Hill can chime in.

Here's my candy red.
It had been refinished when I got it.
Not sure what colour it was originally.

Andy,
Out of all of the awesome bikes on this site (and others), your GHP is by far my favorite. Man that thing just makes me drool!

I've got an original red one - here's the auction link:

That's cool Neil - how many do you have now?

PS: nice early frame - has the flat brake bridge.

Subwax - funny that you bought that one, and now you bought my collection. I am not sure who the guy is who owned that frame, but he lives nearby me. Many of the fast local kids around here were GHP mounted in 1984/85, and I looked up to them. So it could be that that very bike is one of the bikes that inspired me to put my collection together!
