This bike sold for $325.

It was 1st posted @ $225.
I called my brother in Austin minutes after the posting and did something I have never done in my life,
I asked him for the money.
as I wont have any spare cash till early May.
Well, he didn't have it and that was that.

Today he called me and told me that after our conversation, he called the guy and offered him his asking price sight unseen.
Well, when the guy realized the amount of interest he upped the price by a $100 bucks and it sold the next day.

He was gonna surprise me with it for my b-day!
I guess the out of the blue frantic request for the cash got him thinking.

The thought of my family (parents were gonna go half) doing that for me made me feel as good as if I was riding the thing. well, almost.

The sting of the loss has been assuaged.

BTW anyone know what brand it is?

It was a GBJ??? I talked to the guy as well. He bought it from Cathrons bike shop on Guadalupe in 92' or 93'. I had never heard of this frame so I let it go. It did have Profile cranks on it, the rest of the parts were DK. Good looking bike.

Don't kick yourself too hard, not worth the first asking price imo.

i thought it was a custom "A-1" cruiser built for either Cothron's or Austin Cruzers.
i was one of the other callers. that guy should have sold it for the price listed or put it on ebay.
what a douchebag...

my friend, stan, has one of those cruisers also.
