Because long ago, he, like you, helped out a mutual friend. I know nothing about anything in between then and now.

That's a lotta scratch, but it's also a lotta frame. I'd go with Tim's opinion on this one.

I was looking at the pedals too, but changed my mind. Too risky, and I don't like the combination of zero feedback and M.O. only.

Heres a old pic of Brian's Quad collection! Nice stuff, i would be happy with one of them.

But i will also take Tims advice...i dealt with him when i first got in this hobby...waited and waited...he came through in the end. Just be careful!

All valid points and understandable. Email Brian first and check in with him if you see something you like. He responded quickly to me on items I was interested in.

The idea of me staging items for him was my idea, not his, and he didn't take me up on it.

Been 3 + years since ive been here maybe longer... Iam not perfect! and have had my issues as everybody else has... I may have left a few people hanging... not sure exactley who? always tried to clear up whatever it was that I owed or was owed...been Badgered on websites, been ripped off by fellow socalled VBMxer family Members... not saying what i may or may not owe was justifiable, but was really neglected due to my personal problems... Tim cook..never had anything against you...actually we always seemed to have good conversation...but i guess some people can say things that can change anybodies mind of what kind of a person they are...( personally i dont have anything against you, you have always been straight with me and alot of Help iam sure you know that... ) Scot B seemed to have multiple chances to make straight.... and he is still trying like everybody else has.... all i can say is if i offended anybody.....come forward speak your mind on what i owe? or what you may owe me? if you do not want to bid on any of my auctions, I totally understand! there are a handful of vbmxers that i rarely talk to....you know who you are, I have been close to few and far from everybody else...somewhere down the line on this thread SOMEBODY will twist, turn , reverse, and create havoc on a simple message trying to be said easy...

if you dont have anything good or constructive to say...please just keep your comments to yourself...

that said.. i had no problems and cool conversations with 3rd Gear and Dave Lucas too, up until they started screwing people.

i'm a simple guy. i don't have faith in people who have had "never shipped" issues in the past. whether it was me that was left waiting by the mailbox, or others in the community - its all the same to me.

lotsa newbies join this little thing of ours all the time. newbies with no knowledge of past indiscretions. newbies dazzled by cool stuff for sale.

Offerig a warning is the right thing to do... I dont know what Bret or Dave L issues are or were... but hopefully down the line they can step up to the plate to... if they done wrong they need to address there issues in order to come clean!

Brian what about my 24" LANDING GEAR fork I paid you 200.00 for. And you sent me a repop VRP fork. When I talked to you on the phone you new it was for a loop tail floval with a 5" head tube. You sent me a 4" head tube repop vrp fork with thick dropouts. How about a refund!!! 200.00 for a nos landing gear fork was top $ in 2004

no i did not know it was a repop fork,..i bought those items from Jesse Vargas like everybody else did...thinking it was original....like the ones i sold Muxster.....also i had so many different sets that i bought from everybody i wasnt sure exactley what i had.... Scot B signed a bunch of those forks and he said they were originals....so dont say I knew they were repops.... there were sets i took Scot B's signature off of because i didnt know what was what anymore...and 2nd of all when you asked for a refund you were rude with a few nasty words deliberatley and intentionaly accussing me...so when people pop off the loose end they get nasty words said back to them....and with the way things were with alot of these so called VBMXer collectors friends, i wrote you off! you want a refund.....no probs... email me! and AGAIN! LIKE BEN SAID IN THE ABOVE POST......if you have any issues WITH BRIAN EMAIL HIM DIRECT! if you can NOT follow directions then you can just vent to yourself or everybody on this forum. iam not going to go through all this again with the bickering and badgering., he said she said stuff....if you have any issues and iam not responding then you have all right to bring it up to all VBMXERS..

oh... and by the way (TIM seracingman).... Muxster did get a refund on both 26" landing gears and 24"s 3 months later after meeting up with Scot B an Frankie at Long Beach Airport with Chester, "cvspno" also gave Mux a few extra NOS items...oakley grips, stickers, etc... I have pictures of that day in the parking lot at the BIG Holiday in Tower, Scot signed one of those 26" LGs and he didnt know the difference...... thats when we all started figuring out the LGs were repops...so again!....email me direct if you want resolution instead of headaches....
