Last week I went to go see my kids. They have lived with my stories of Rancho, Corona, Weinert etc and of Dave clinton, JP, Takhashi and the Rick's Bike Shop team among other stories.
They were fascinated at the downhill tracks. (Specially my little girl) They always talk about how to great it would be to have done this. Since the tracks are long gone, we make do.

Funny enough, back in the day I wouldn't hesitate jamming on those legendary tracks, but now that I'm a dad, I had to drop the camera and make sure the kids got down the hill safely.
Proud to say, they are little chips off the old block as they both came down the hill with just a little encouragement.

Hey dad!
You said we were going down a big scary hill. I don't see a hill for miles from top of this mound of dirt.

"Don't wuss out! It's all in your haed!"

Nice, the only time I use duct tape is to tie my boys together so they won't fight!
Hold on, it's my gal friday with the shop phone...
"Jeff?" yes?! "I have child protective services on line one for you"
Great... who's on line two? Brian Lewis?
