I come home today and find this fine piece of work in my driveway. Way crazier than a Quad for sure and from what I was told this caddy is a early 70's Enjoy!!!

I`ll take it off your hands. It`s not because it`s a bike, it`s because I`m into the old cars and Barris is my hero. He builds some wild cars.

Notice the mags in the above add? they may look like Webco mags but they are not. they predate Webco mags by many years. I forgot what they were called though. Tim help me out. It's my personal opinion is that Webco got their hands on the same molds to make they're wheels.
Iverson always made some wild and kooky stuff! as witnessed by this trippy Iverson monoshock that was being ridden around last year at Elysian park.
once again notice the kooky wheels.

Here they are! Those wheels were made by Iverson. (circa 1969) I should have put two and two together! DUH!

I looked at those ads and I looked at my Webco mags, and I would bet $$ they are the same. The Webco folks probably bought the patterns after the Iverson activities declined.
Take a look. They sure look like the real deal to me.

It looks like a cycleball bike from Czech. Used to be an Olympic exibition sport in, i think 68. Could be wrong but it looks like it to me.

The frame must be cut to make a Barris replica so right now it`s juat a regular frame. Good luck with the sale.

nope, nope, NOPE! it's an original Barris frame as it sits. He made a bunch of different styles and designs. Not all of them are pictured in ads.
that frame will be a bear to build unless you have a source for all the other parts. the seats, sissy bars and other parts are Barris custom, and just as rare as the frame. the wheels are tough to find. Iversons in general aren't around much anyway because they aren't near as collectible as Sting-Rays. (Iversons were "department store junk"). but the Barris bikes - now THOSE are collectible.

Potential source for parts here, the guy's name is Jim Barnard. Although he'd more likely want to buy the frame.

Wow I just spent some time checking out the New England Muscle bike page. Cool stuff. You have to wonder why people even bother collecting Schwinns when there's all that crazy off brand stuff to play with!?
Good luck to who ever attempts to restore that Barris. You're going to have an uphill battle!

I kept clicking around that museum thinking the next page I clicked on would be bmx bikes. Kind of a natural progression it would seem to me, but I do not know how many muscle bike guys have made the leap or taken the next step to bmx.
