Did SE ever make a Mauler frame without the looptail rear end? I'm trying to id a customers bike at work. Where the seat tube meets the seat stays looks like an OM . It's a steel 24" frame.

When I first moved to Austin I used to see alot of those Pat, in 24 and 26" versions. Frames and forks were chrome and they all had blue ACS front hubs, seat clamps, and coaster brake rear wheels or maybe it was just the twosixes that had the coaster. It's been a while since I've seen any of these, I think they have all disintegrated into piles of rust by now. This bike I saw yesterday definitely did not come from a department store. I need to start keeping a camera on my bench at work. Spring is sprung around here and the cool old bikes are going to start coming out the woodwork.

The Mauler was only offered two ways. As a redecaled Race Inc RA24 or a redecaled Team Murray X24R. Has to be one or the other. If it was a non loop steel frame, it was the "SE by Murray" frame.
