They made that frame from about 1970 till the end (1981?). I prefer earlier decals. Black ink on gold prism HT decals, and all die cut vinyl for the remainder. DG in Gusset, Small D above G on seat post and "DG Racer" on lower rear triangle. Forks get one leg "DG Racer", one D above G.

Mine looks close to this one same looking drop outs wierd bars they are the V bars but bent differently. Also some wierd grips that i never seen before they have these like anodized metal in the middle of the ribs? also shimano cassette hubs and a shimmano road bike looking head set. From what i have seen this bike looks stock stuff. The only thing looks like it has been changed is the seat and pole.

Didn't the older ones have a straight top part of the D in the gusset? I thought that D came out in 79. Mine is a 77, and it has the "D" on the gusset where the top part of the D goes straight across, it doesn't curve down at the top.

Check the "D" on the gusset in this ad from Dec 77 BMXA.

Make sure you check the measurements. I have a black head tube one that is too big. The blue and gold ones are fine as are the DGs.
