No, not Napolean Dynamite kinda goofy, but goofy footed? It`s obviously not the same as skate boarding, but still applies. For instance:
I do cross ups and other bar turning tricks to the right. I carve or spin to the left..pretty normal, no real detriment on any jump or ramp.
I do one footers with my left foot, fine...downside or inside foot. I also cancan with my left over the top tube...PROBLEM. X-up cancans were scary, and on vert cancans were topside, also scary. However, I did no-footed cancans to the left...wierd.
I know it`s a pretty random subject, but hey...What problems did your dominant side impose on tricks you did, and how did you work around it?

Random , but interesting nonetheless.
I never thought of riding a bike as a goofy foot thing.
I surfed goofy or normal , whatever suited the conditions at the time , water skiing I'd lead with either foot , skateboarding was similar too surfing , whatever worked best.
I usually rode my bikes with my right foot leading , I think I would have face planted if I rode up a dirt jump to pull a table top with my left foot leading , skateparks were different ,often the only option was to lead left foot or eat cement. In the real early days of racing BMX when we could do 1 footed starts I would try to lead left , as it let me really stand down onto the right pedal when the gate dropped , but 2 foot right leading prevailed , thru habit or whatever I preferred to ride "normal" on a bike.
We didn't do cancan's , tailwhips or backflips etc back in 1981 so I can't comment , could swing a table top either way or rockwalk either way tho.
I'm predominantly right handed

"Was being goofy ever a hindrance?"
I'm really not sure. I always played Pluto. Sorry man. I'm just not experienced being Goofy...
Seriously tho, I never really thought about it.
