Entry level hi tensile steel SE Bronco which was started in 1983 as the entry level overseas built frame. Same geometry as the chromoly Hauler. The Bronco was named after Rod "Bronco" Beckering and the Hauler was Toby Henderson's signature frame. I went through a phaze of collecting Bronco's and Haulers where I had about ten of them. I think they are very cool bikes and like them because they are not as popular as the PK's. The geometry of the Bronco and Hauler was the same as the second gen PK's. The Bronco name has carried on all the way through the years and is still available today. From what I've seen, the Broncos of this era were available in maroon, metallic blue, chrome and black.

Cool! thanks any idea on the year and they come w/ landing gear or a cheaper version fork.
Rev.Lucky
so with the serial# would it be a 83?
BRIAN HAYS
Well the serial number means nada, but yes, like 83-86 was the span on this frame and decals. These Bronco's came with cheap forks that looked more like Race Inc forks . They had the rear cut like the Race Inc and Cycle Pro forks. Some also looked like LG lites but either way they had Landing Gear decals on them but were hi tensile instead of chromoly like the true US Landing Gear.

actually, with how most taiwanese serials work, the "4" in your # is probably indicative of it being manufactured in 1984.
