I'll check my old photos. PRE, BBR and West Seattle Bike were the hot loca Sea/Tac teams.

There was a kid one block away from me who raced for PRE BMX. His name is Rolly Leonard, and he rode a late 70s red Robinson. I have no idea what became of him. He was kind of the neighborhood hero.
He would ride through our neighborhood and hop a curb in front of us, catching amazing air. Rolly and I did some jumps one afternoon behind St Peters church on NE 8th in Bellevue. He has a brother named Greg, but I cannot recall if he raced for PRE.
As for the shop, I would often ride from Bellevue to Issaquah just to hang out there (it's a pretty long ride).
I bought my first "real" bike there - an orange Cheetah with Ashtabula components. It cost 90 bucks, and within a few months, the bike was completely modified, component-wise.
PRE had the really trick stuff - I bought my Araya rims with Bullseye hubs there, as well as early Robinson forks, assorted bits and pieces, and a first gen Supergoose frame.
The shop was small, but packed with components. PRE was always there on race day. If I remember correctly, there was a checkered flag in their logo. I hoped to race for them, but my track time was cut short by my parents, who never really understood the BMX thing.

As for the location, PRE was located at Gilman Villiage, a (then) small shopping center along I-90.
Issaquah is about ten miles east of Bellevue, which is about five miles east of Seattle.

Are you sure, Ben? Gilman villiage is still there. It's gotten a little bigger and refined, but it's still there.
