Oh, any excuse I can get: Started out as a "basket case" and ended up being my wife's rider.

atxbmx... 26" red snakebellies... man, where do you guys find stuff like that? I looked for red snakebellies for my 20" and finally gave up after 6 months of searching. 26" must be even harder to find. Awesome stuff.

Aw Hell Johnson, we got piles of those things down here in Austin.

Austin...damn, the one place I didn't look.

Wow! Some nice bikes everyone. I've posted these before, but I'll take any opportunity to show off my babies.
The third one is my latest work in progress. Should be done this weekend. If time permits. Thanks for the thread Johnathan!

Johnson,

That is one BadA#$ bike!!! I also had a candy red one BITD. It only lasted me 2 weeks thou. Bounced off a tree a cracked the head tube pretty good.
Love the P-Lites. Each one rocks. One of these days I will get mine up and running.

old-skull, thanks man... i appreciate the love. I built this bike for my cousin because (a) i needed an excuse to build a 3rd bike and (B) I was hoping he'd really dig it. He only moderately dug. He's really into fly fishing right now and just isn't feeling the BITD glory quite yet. So it sits in my office for now. I didn't know that Plites came in candy red BITD, thanks for that info. I thought this was a very non-stock color. Cool.

blikum, your white Plite is how I remember a Plite to be. In fact, that is nearly the same bike my cousin actually had. I'd really appreciate it if you might send me more picts of that bike. I think that might be exactly the set up my cousin had. Are those Bullseye hubs? ...great build. Great thread.
