I've never seen one of these before - a green alloy hub Tuff II. These hard to find? I assume these were a mid 80's freestyle sort of colour?
Cheers Kurt

Thanks Steve. Yeah I know that. But not with alloy hubs!

That's a Coaster Rear - they did them pairs in combination, alloy coaster rear and plastic front.

Still don't see that many around

Ahhh...I overlooked the part you were describing. DOH!

Check the "made in UK" imprint. Did SKyway have molds in the UK? I thought they were always on shore....
Kurt.
Yeah BenOr - saw that. It's the real deal though, patent number and all, so they must have been made in the UK (I'm in Australia). ACS Z Rims were made in Australia too, under licence, by Marlyn.

Here's a better pic of the colour:

Hey thanks Race Inc - that's handy. Sounds like there were made in the UK front tuffs with alloy hubs too. Cheers. Kurt

When I won the auction for my Tuffs I thought the hub on the front was a replacement. However when I got them they were mint, never ridden. So I couldnt figure out why they had a replacement hub on them. Then I saw the "Made in UK" on them and that threw me off some, as I didnt realize they ever made them in the UK. That's why I posted and glad I did, it explained everything. That also may explain why I got them for $60. Nobody was going to pay any money for a set of Tuffs that were "repaired" when in fact they came original like that! Cool stuff!
