I heard of someone (Possibly someone here on VBMX) that makes repro end caps for Shimano DX pedals. Does anyone here have contact details? Or know someone selling some? Thanks in advance.

That was a UK thing about 12 months ago.
It did not go on long (to my knowledge) once Shimano found out it was happening.
