Ok. I've been in the process of building up a Race Inc. and I cant seem to decide on something and it's in the crank department. I cant seem to choose between 3 piece ore 1 piece. So I would like to know what some of the fellow members would decide on. Also dont stop at that, what style, brand of 3 piece? If you choose 1 piece, what crank, spider, chainring combo? Maybe if I see some other choices I havent thought of, it might help in my quest for the final parts decision on this build! Thanks alot!

when i think race inc. i dont see flights or profile type cranks, i think alum. 3 piecers are the way to go. If i were doing 1 piece i'd go with a takagi crank and a sugino redline type chainring.

RA-8s were the expert/junior sized frame...I'd say a nice set of Maxy Cross would be boss...like mine.

I think it is these questions that get you in trouble ( 4 years and still building). I say just build it! LOL

Well I do have the 3 piece Maxy cranks already but have been undecisive about using them. Seen a couple pics of Race Inc. bikes with 1 piece cranks that looked kinda cool though.
Hey thanks Mitch! I should have known you would pop in and give me the biz!!! I am close to being done with this one though. Oh and just so ya know Mitch, I just tore down the Scrambler the other night, so only a couple more years for that one!!!
