WOW. Those must be the forks that went with the "lawsuit frame". I feel another big $$$ Hutch auction taking place.

or, rather the "lawsuit fork". those forks were the problem, moreso than the frames.

I don't remember any stories of injuries or any actual lawsuits. It may have just been trackside rumor.
But the failure/replacement rate was so bad so soon after release that Hutch stopped production entirely - Hence the rarity.
I don't remember seeing many sets of Aerospeeds either. Trackside rumor. I woud'nt have traded my Takagi 1-piecers for Aerospeeds BITD, cause of the stories of them breaking.

I thought there was a significant injury with those forks. If I am not mistaken, I believe his name bas Brad Dalbec...
He has posted here before. I think he was paralyzed from an accident using those forks.
If I am wrong, please accept my apologies...if I am right, somebody please back me up!

So it was the forks that broke and not the frame?

there was at least 1 significant injury/lawsuit from those forks breaking, wasn't Brad, though. i believe Brad's accident was similar, but not one of those forks.
i don't recall a problem with the frames...maybe, though.
