I wonder if Craig Kundig still has one of these around?
If not, I'm sure that he would be totally stoked with seeing yours!

I talked to Graig late last year. He still has a couple 20's and 24's. Those bikes still get him giddy when brought up. (You can see Why) thanks Reilley1.

Thanks for the coments! I do ride the bike often and it rides wonderful. The RRS is real unique becouse it is a later model with out the road bike headset. I want to thank Juan Claudio and Scott Hice from KAPPA for all their help. My next project is almost done, a baby blue SE Floval.

For all of you RRS freaks out there. These are some of the rarest bikes around. I think only about 8-10 cruisers have surfaced, impossible to find. They really are one of the rarest and well built frames from the early 80's, Trackmaster built. I'm lucky enough to have 2 of them and the second one wouldn't have been possible without Pauls help. At this point the man has become an RRS expert. His knowledge is indispensable. He's one of the great guys in this hobby.
Beautiful build brother!!!!! now lets see that Floval!!

Wow. Amazing bike.
There was a small bike shop that opened in our neighborhood in Baltimore County back in '81 or so that had two RRS 20" f/f hanging up. One was blue and the other black. I remember my friends and I thought the bikes were cool but the changeover to that BB and brakes was just too funky. Those framesets sat there for YEARS. I talked to someone a few years ago who told me that they had only disappeared from the store around '99 or so. Contacted the shop (now at a new location) that confirmed they were long gone, but to an unknown location.
Wow. Missed opportunity, huh?

That RRS is super nice.
Here is a pic of my NOS frameset...
Actually, I was finally talked into selling it. It is now living in Australia.
I built a dedicated RRS webpage a couple/few years ago. It has about 20 photos and some info about RRS.
Here is the link...
CLICK HERE for the RRS web page! I still talk to Craig Kundig (RRS founder) every once in a while. And yes, I've seen a couple of RRS bikes/frames hanging in his garage, so I know he has kept a few of them around.

actually, kudos has to go to Helix BMX. When Paul and I were working on our RRS's Helix's webpage was an indispensable resource. As rare as these frames are they're even rarer to find with original brakes and EBB shell. As far as we know the only RRS's with original EBBs and brakes are Helix's 20" and the cruisers Paul and I have. Most kids back in the day ended up getting rid of the canti brakes and going with regular MX brakes so the frames rarely turn up with the original pieces on them. Most people end up having to use modern day EBB because the original ones were long gone. You realize how rare they are when you have to not only find a f/f but also original brakes and EBB shell. Its impossible!!!
