Hey guys, I have these nos forks and pad that I have had kicking around for a couple of years and I want to put them to use. I have been wanting to do another redline build, so I figure I might as well just build around them. We have narrowed it down to possibly 80-82, but anyone know what models used this color/font? I know the Carrera (sp) decals look similar, but these are short (4") head tube forks, and I was told the carerra has a 5" head tube- correct me if I'm wrong.

If anyone has an idea what would be "correct" for this and especially- if you have a "correct" frame and other items- please let me know. Thanks.

1982 or so maybe 1983-mx2 or mx3, check how long the steerer tube is but I doubt it's a proline because it does not have the oval hole in the dropout

It is for a 4" head tube, not 5", so I don't think Proline. I'll have to keep my eyes open for an MX2/3 frame- know of any ?

they are on ebay a lot, the older 79-1980 ones had the older western block style decals, they went to that decal by like 1981-82

Thanks. Do you know if there is any way to tell year by serial numbers on the redlines or anything?
