Please correct me if I have anything wrong:
1st Generation. Produced by Speed Unlimited. From beginning of Hutch to late 1980:

2nd Generation. Two holes drilled, Angled fork leg ends. Used in 1981.

3rd Generation. One hole drilled. axle slot less forward-facing. 1982-198???

This information was gathered from Johan's Hutch website as well as speaking with a few other Hutch guys online.
Feel free to correct or add to the information.

not 100% sure on the order of the first 2, but i think that is reversed:
Profile built the first hutch frames from '80-sometime in '82 (as per my conversation with Profile). these included the original "drilled logo", "no logo" and, finally, original "western logo" style frames. pic #2, above, came with the "drilled logo" frames so should be 1st gen. Profile later made the pic #3 style, also, after the "drilled logo" frame was dicontinued.
Speed/thruster built hutch F/Fs after that (with MCS making some stuff, also. timeline may have overlapped). these were "western logo".
my understanding has always been that the 1st pic/Speed fork was an interim design when Hutch switched manufacturers, and was the 3rd version (maybe 4th, depending on exactly what and when MCS made hutch stuff).
profile, MCS, Speed and "in-house Hutch" all made a version like the last pic at one point or another.

Raceshop,
Actually, they may belong. The earliest Trick Stars had pegless forks.

True, true, but the original Trick Star forks had double thick dropouts (like the later Judge).

What about guidelines for which ones had brake holes and which ones didn't? After these all came the overseas ones with the pressed caps on the bottom, right?

i think the classic style ones (3rd pic) without brake holes were all Speed-built. Speed did build some with holes, also.
