Better grip than bare hands on those rock hard Oakley IIs and thats about it. AME tris were way better in grip not so good in feel.

I loved them, you can still buy them...just under different names. I have a pair of "Body Glove" wet weathers that are the EXACT same as the old JT's!

I have six pairs of them (four pair NOS still in the bag). I much preferred them to leather gloves, and I use them when mountain biking sometimes.

Awesome gloves.
Heaps of grip without the lack of feel that bulky leather gloves had.
I had red ones BITD.

Loved them....BITD I hated leather gloves because of the sweat problems.....which colored your hands the same color as the glove. Wish I still had a few pair.

If you mean the knit gloves with rubber dots all over them, hell yea. I loved those gloves, I thought they had a better "feel" than leather gloves.
Plus, they were cheap!

I still have a pair that I bought in the early 90's. one of the fingers ripped, but being the independent guy that I am, I stitched it closed! I still use them, but only on those cold mornings until my van's heater warms up! You know high 40's is awfully cold here in San Diego........... (Yeah, we're spoiled, sorry!)

I just bought a pair of Zeronine's off Ebay. I have 3 other pairs NOS in the bag. I'll open a new pair up when an old pair is unwearable. I have worn them since the mid 80's whenever it's cold outside, riding or not. The early Zeronine's were really nice and a little thicker than the JT's.

I think the early Haros were the be best for me. Leather beats fabric every time in a crash. The Haros used kangaroo if I remember right. I know I bailed many times in mine before they wore through.

I loved 'em 'til I tried to bunnyhop a bike at normal seat height and clipped my back tire, not too much difference than raw palm on asphalt. But, for indoor racing in the winter at 35 degrees, they did the trick.

I was using those all of 1981.
JT's outlet store was in Chula Vista (South San Diego).
Funny how now they're gardeners gloves.

Heres me in 82 using our aussie brand wet weather gloves (Racing Mate). I have a few Haro sets for my son now.

Those gloves were cool here I have on the HARO wet weather. Most of the time I wore the JT gloves, in fact I still have a couple of NOS pairs in my stuff from BITD.
