When did Torker made the frames with the gusset with oval holes?
I remember they were Taiwanese made (or Japanese)?

I heard people call them cheetah frames or something also--- is this incorrect?

Cheetah? Torker Cheetah?

I dunno, it was the early 1990's when I heard that and I think it may have been Darrin C. or Shannon or somebody told me that. They were the only two collectors I knew at the time pre-internet. Since then I think it has become urban mis-legend.
