Did SE make kit bikes BITD? I bought this today and it has all SR components (Hubs, cranks, chainwheel, post clamp, stem) with obvious SE parts. Does anyone remember?

Nice find. Is that a "Bronko Bend" Team lever on it?

Ya Ben, there were some tests in BMX Action in 81-82 that were of PK's sold as complete bikes with a parts breakdown and they looked just as yours is. Same cranks, stem, seat (I remember the seat surprising me as a Viscount instead of Kashimax).Nice bike!!!

Not sure if it was a kit...just a oem complete stock pk from 1983-84. Excellent survivor condition.

Very nice indeed. PK's are always cool.

Alex is right, which is what I was trying to get across and didn't really succeed. The last couple of years of the loop PK, you could buy a complete bike where as before they were just frames.

SE sold complete bikes with those components.

The Quadangle complete was very similar component-wise, and yeah a lot of it was SR stuff.
Bike Crazy.
Been to several bike shops in the northwest and met people that have selling bikes for years, maybe even that one. If that shop is still around, someone there may give major info on complete builds.

Nice thing is I'm off for a week and found this today. Pulled it apart as all grease was dry as the desert. Literally, no marks on the frame. In 8 years of OS, I've never found one like this. Drop outs, post nothing. The postand bars are perfect. I'll clean up this week...

Sweet find, Ben. You letting this one go or keeping it?

Wow that is an incredible find. What a nice survivor that bike is. Looks like it was hardly even ridden.
What kind of brake lever is that?
